The Foundation for Neglected Disease Research (FNDR), incorporated on September 1st 2014, is a non-profit research organization that strives to offer candidate drugs and diagnostics for diseases of the developing world. With expertise in malaria, tuberculosis, and other neglected infectious diseases, FNDR uses its 10,000 sq. ft. facility to conduct preclinical drug discovery and diagnostic work. With over 100 years of collective experience across the entire drug development pathway, FNDR aims to build on the work that has already produced multiple patented molecules to help fight diseases of poverty.
FNDR’s main activities include microbiological and cell culture research, screening activity of drugs against microbial pathogens, animal infection and non-infection studies, and biochemical assays.
